THE COMPLETE HISTORY OF TELEVISION
PART 37 - CABLE TV PIONEERS

When Cable Television first burst upon the airways in 1972, the FCC mandated that air time be made available to anybody who wished to make use of their Public Access Channel.

One of the pioneering stations was Theta Cable in Santa Monica, California. And without question its “star” was one Richard “Dick” Taylor.

We're thrilled to announce that COMING SOON is the actual LOST FIRST EPISODE of the legendary Richard "Dick" Taylor Show that originally aired September 7th, 1978.
